The Renewal Cycle

Skin is a growing, living organ that constantly renews itself. In healthy, young skin this regenerative cycle is roughly 28 days from the birth of a new cell that becomes the skin you see.

Why Exfoliate?

Many factors such as age, stress and genetics can affect and slow down the regenerative cycle of the skin. Dry dead skin cells build up daily giving the skin a dull, lifeless appearance. Fine lines and wrinkles may appear more noticeable, and any dead cells that linger on your skin can prevent your skin care products from effective penetration. Exfoliation helps to remove dead skin cells to reveal younger, healthier skin cells. Skin is left with a fresh glow, a softer feel and a more luminous appearance.
